For Mount the Trio flat on the crossbars, never vertically. Crossbars thinner than 16mm need Küat's Trio Small Bar Mounting Kit, sold separately. Tighten the front security nuts in turn and don't overtighten them, as that can dent the crossbar. Don't put a tarp or car cover over the rack, or take it through an automatic car wash. It is not for rock crawling, jumps, bogging or fast off-road driving; Küat counts smooth gravel roads as on-road.
