Which Ranger Have You Got?
The Next-Gen Ranger has had several updates since 2022, and the late-2024 changes at the back matter most for accessories. Your grade, cab style and build month decide which towbar, canopy and bull bar fit.

Built before or after late 2024?Towbar kits are split at late 2024, and Rangers built from 2022 to October 2024 need an extra brace for some canopies. Your build month is on the vehicle's ID plate.
Raptor, PHEV or Super Duty?The Raptor needs its own bull bar and has a lower towing rating. The PHEV and Super Duty have their own fittings too. We fit all of them. Get in touch and we'll tell you what's available.

A steel bull bar, winch, canopy and drawers can use most of that 547 kg before anyone gets in. If you plan to tow heavy, tell us up front and we'll help you choose lighter options or a lighter trailer.
Already got a factory towbar?Many Rangers leave the dealer with a tow bar and tongue, including every XLS from the mid-2024 update. You may only need wiring, a brake controller or a recovery-rated tongue.

What We Fit to the Ranger
Canopies & tub
Canopies, drawers and tub storage
For most Ranger owners a canopy is the biggest single upgrade, and it's where the late-2024 change shows up. EGR's Gen3 canopy suits every Next-Gen Ranger tub, but Rangers built from 2022 to October 2024 need a J-Brace added. It links to the factory central locking, has frameless lift-up side windows, and comes with roof tracks for a rack. It's rated to carry 80 kg on the roof while driving and 200 kg when parked.
Under the canopy, MSA's drawer system for the dual-cab tub comes as a full kit or a single left or right drawer. Grades with Ford's Flexible Rack System, such as the Platinum and Wildtrak X, can change which tub accessories fit, so let us know if yours has it.

Towbars
Towbars for the Ranger
Ranger towbars are split by build date and body. Utes built from May 2022 to late 2024 take a different kit from those built after, and cab-chassis models have their own again. We stock Hayman Reese's 3,500 kg kits with a concealed tongue and plug-and-play wiring. Their X-Bar recovery towbar is also available, with rated recovery points built in.
Towing more than 2,000 kg means trailer brakes you can work from the driver's seat. If your Ranger doesn't have a built-in brake controller, we'll fit one, such as the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite. Planning to tow near the limit? Have a look at the GCM figures above first.

Roof racks
Roof racks for the Ranger
Wildtraks come with raised roof rails, so bars clamp straight onto them. Other dual cabs use a clamp-mount kit made for the Ranger's roof. If you have a canopy, its roof tracks are often the better place for a rack, keeping the cab roof clear and the load further back.

Bull bars
Bull bars for the Ranger and Ranger Raptor
The Raptor has a different front end from the rest of the range, so it needs its own bar. Offroad Animal's Predator suits every other Next-Gen Ranger, works with the factory fog lights and the Tech Pack's front parking sensors, and comes with recovery points rated to 4,500 kg each. Tremor owners will need a different lower bash plate. At around 55 kg it's light for a steel bar, which helps if you're watching GCM. Fitting takes three to four hours.

Ranger Questions
3,500 kg braked with up to 350 kg on the towball for every grade except the Raptor, which is rated to 2,500 kg. The catch is GCM: 6,400 kg on the V6 diesels and 6,350 kg on the 2.0 bi-turbos. That's the most the ute, everything in it and the trailer can weigh together.
Yes, but not with a fully loaded ute. Take a 2022 Wildtrak V6 at 2,353 kg towing a 3,500 kg caravan: that leaves 547 kg under the 6,400 kg GCM for people, gear and every accessory you've added. A bull bar, winch, canopy and drawers can use most of that. If you tow heavy, we'll help you plan the setup so it stays legal.
It depends on the build date and body. Utes built from May 2022 to late 2024 take a different kit from later ones, and cab-chassis models have their own. Many Rangers also come with a factory towbar, in which case you might only need wiring or a brake controller. Give us your build month, grade and body style and we'll match the right kit.
If you're towing more than 2,000 kg, the trailer's brakes must be operable from the driver's seat, which means an electric brake controller. Some Rangers have one built in from the factory, including the XLS from the mid-2024 update. If yours doesn't, we'll supply and fit one, and set it up for your trailer.
For the EGR Gen3 canopy, Rangers built from 2022 to October 2024 need a J-Brace, which we supply and fit with the canopy. Later builds don't. If your Ranger has the Flexible Rack System or a sports bar, tell us when you book so we can confirm what works with it.
For some things, yes. The Raptor has its own front end, so it needs a Raptor-specific bull bar, and its towing rating is 2,500 kg rather than 3,500 kg. Canopies, roof racks and interior accessories are often shared with other dual-cab Rangers, but we check each part against the Raptor before we fit it.
Yes. Canopies, towbars, roof racks, drawers, bull bars and accessories are fitted at Kotara, Maitland, Artarmon and Burwood. Window tinting is done at Kotara and Maitland only. Call your nearest store with your Ranger's grade and build date to book.
