Single Trail STSLR1505ZN-BK
The Single Trail SL150 Vertical Bike Carrier is the ultimate entry-level, high-capacity shuttle rack, purpose-built for rugged terrain, family outings, and e-bike adventures. Designed, engineered, and fabricated in Australia, the SL150 blends user-friendly functionality with robust structural integrity, offering a dependable solution for transporting up to five bikes securely and efficiently.
SL Pivot System
The SL Pivot system is engineered for effortless operation and maximum versatility. Activated with a foot pedal and secured by a locking pin, the SL150 allows the rack to lean back, granting easy access to a vehicle’s rear without removing bikes. This also enables Roll-Up Loading — a back-saving feature that eliminates the need to lift bikes into place. For more complex setups, the bolt-on tongue design allows for seamless tongue extensions, while the rack can also lay completely horizontal, providing optimal loading during shuttle runs and unobstructed access to the rear tray or boot.
Integrated Anti-Wobble Mechanism
Unique to Single Trail, the Integrated Anti-Wobble mechanism is built directly into the SL150’s frame. This industry-first innovation eliminates the need for additional hardware by using a precision-engineered heavy-duty bolt and nut plate to minimize unwanted slop and sway. The result is a rock-solid, quiet ride—even on rough, uphill trail approaches. Extra-wide 350mm bike spacing ensures zero bike-to-bike contact, keeping handlebars, levers, and top tubes well clear of one another.
Rope Fastening System (SL Version)
The patented Rope Fastening System (RFS) SL Version makes loading and securing bikes a breeze, especially during high-frequency shuttle runs. Utilizing marine-grade rope looped around the pedal and tensioned through a V-Cleat locking mechanism, this system delivers unmatched holding power. The tighter the rope is pulled, the more secure the hold—without slipping or fraying. The rope’s low elasticity eliminates the "bungee effect" common with elastic cords, maintaining secure and stable positioning throughout transit. This fastening system is trusted by Blue Dirt Shuttles, who transport thousands of bikes every year across Australia’s toughest trails.
Full E-Bike Compatibility
The SL150 has been engineered to carry bikes of all types—from lightweight carbon trail rigs to heavier e-bikes. Each wheel basket is load-rated to 35kg per bike, providing peace of mind and structural integrity for even the bulkiest builds. The tongue and pivot sections are crafted from premium Bisalloy steel, ensuring maximum strength and resilience where it matters most. Whether you're heading out for a family day or a full-blown e-bike excursion, the SL150 is built to handle it.
Versatile Bike Fit
Equipped with an adjustable Rear Wheel Mount, the SL150 supports a wide range of bike sizes — from 20″ kids' bikes to 29″ trail and road bikes. For smaller bikes under 24", a 20″ Padding Kit is required. Road bikes can be easily accommodated with the optional Road Bike Padding Kit, making this rack ideal for riders of all disciplines and ages.
Built to Last
The Single Trail SL150 is finished in blue zinc plating for long-term weather protection, with an optional black powder-coated finish available for those seeking a stealth aesthetic. Despite its rugged build, the SL150 remains lightweight and feature-rich, boasting a 150kg total load capacity. It comes complete with a Single Trail number plate board, ensuring road readiness right out of the box. A garage stand, as seen in product imagery, is available separately.
Backed by the Single Trail for Life limited lifetime warranty, the SL150 is built to go the distance. This warranty covers the rack structure, swing-arms, rope fastening system, and integrated anti-wobble mechanism — all testament to Single Trail’s commitment to quality and innovation.
