Single Trail STSLR1005ZN-BK
The Single Trail SL100 Vertical Bike Carrier sets a new standard for shuttle bike racks with its innovative design, robust construction, and user-friendly features. Engineered and fabricated in Australia, this rack is perfect for riders who demand reliable performance on rugged shuttle trails and easy access to their vehicle’s rear.
SL Pivot System
At the heart of the SL100 is the adjustable SL Pivot, designed for simplicity and ease of use. Activated via a foot pedal secured with a locking pin, the rack effortlessly leans back to provide excellent rear vehicle access without the need to lift bikes. This feature enables seamless roll-up loading and unloading of bikes, reducing hassle and strain. For custom setups, a bolt-on tongue system allows the addition of tongue extensions, while the rack can also fold completely horizontal to the ground — ideal for mid-shuttle bike loading and better rear clearance.
Integrated Anti-Wobble Technology
Single Trail’s world-first Integrated Anti-Wobble mechanism eliminates the need for additional bolts or plates by incorporating a heavy-duty bolt and engineered nut plate directly into the rack design. This innovation effectively removes slop and sway, providing a stable ride for your bikes even on rough, technical uphill sections. The rack’s 350mm extra-wide spacing between bikes ensures no contact between handlebars and top tubes, protecting components and keeping bikes secure.
Rope Fastening System (SL Version)
The patented Rope Fastening System (RFS) SL Version offers the quickest and most secure way to fasten bikes. Using marine-grade rope looped around pedals and tightened via a V-Cleat locking mechanism, this system ensures the bikes are held firmly in place. Unlike traditional grip straps, the marine rope resists slipping and fraying, and its low elasticity prevents a bungee effect, delivering precise load placement exactly where bikes are engineered to take it. This trusted system is preferred by Blue Dirt Shuttles, known for transporting thousands of bikes annually over challenging terrain.
Full E-Bike Compatibility
Designed to accommodate the full spectrum of modern bikes, the SL100 supports e-bikes and carbon enduro bikes alike. Each wheel basket can carry up to 35kg, providing the strength needed for heavier e-bikes. The tongue and pivot components are constructed from premium Bisalloy steel, ensuring exceptional durability where it counts most, allowing riders to load up confidently for any adventure.
Wide Bike Size Compatibility
The adjustable Rear Wheel Mount accommodates a broad range of bikes, from 20″ kids’ bikes up to 29″ mountain and road bikes. To perfectly fit smaller bikes, a 20″ Padding Kit is available, while road bike owners can opt for a dedicated Road Bike Padding Kit to enhance fit and protection.
Premium Build and Warranty
The SL100 is finished with blue zinc plating for superior weather resistance, with a black powder coat option available. It boasts a lightweight yet feature-rich design with a generous 100kg total load capacity. Each rack includes a Single Trail number plate board for easy installation compliance. Single Trail stands behind its product with the Single Trail for Life limited lifetime warranty, covering the rack’s structure, swing-arms, rope fastening system, and integrated anti-wobble mechanism.
