Is the Standalone Shelf compatible with a Cargo Barrier? 

Yes. The KAON Barrier is compatible with this shelf, but is not required to mount it.

Standalone Shelves and Light Cargo Barriers purchased August 2024 onwards can be mounted together using the combination shelf bracket. Standalone Shelves and Light Cargo Barriers purchased prior to this can be mounted together by layering the brackets. Instructions for installing them together are provided. 

Is the Standalone Shelf compatible with the other brands of aftermarket Cargo Barrier?

The Standalone Rear Roof Shelf may not fit if you already have another third-party cargo barrier installed in your vehicle. 

Is the Standalone Shelf to suit the Toyota LandCruiser 76 child restraint / baby seat compatible?

We cannot confirm compatible fitment of this shelf with all child restraints, due to the number of variations available on the market. Please note that ADR 34 and AS/NZS 1754 specify that child restraint top tether straps must not be obstructed, rerouted, or come into contact with aftermarket accessories. 

How big is the Standalone Shelf? 

The shelf measures 1260 x 450mm.

What are the clearances when the Standalone Shelf is installed? 

Clearances when installed (subject to variances of up to +/-5mm): 

Lowest Setting
Clearance to shelf base from the ceiling: 200mm
Clearance from shelf base to the floor: 940mm

Middle Setting
Clearance to shelf base from the ceiling: 190mm
Clearance from shelf base to the floor: 950mm

Highest Setting 
Clearance to shelf base from the ceiling: 180mm
Clearance from shelf base to the floor: 960mm

What is the load/weight capacity for the Standalone Shelf?

The shelf is rated to 10kg, evenly distributed across the shelf. We recommend it as storage for lightweight and soft cargo. If you need help imagining what that looks like, here's an example:

Is the Standalone Shelf compatible with my vehicle's model?

The Standalone Shelf is compatible with all LC76 models from 2007 onwards, including the GDJ76 and VDJ76. It is also compatible with the Prado 78 Series, the KZJ78.
