30L Stainless Steel Underbody Water Tank to suit Toyota Prado 150 
With 30L capacity, our Underbody Water Tank is perfect for a quick weekend away, or as additional water storage for peace of mind when heading on a serious trip.  

PLEASE NOTE:  The tank requires the Genuine OEM Toyota Towbar fitted in your vehicle in order to be mounted. It is not compatible with the optional €˜Flat Tailgate Pack the tank is only compatible with vehicles with rear door mounted spare tyres.

Can the Underbody Water Tank be fitted without a towbar?

No, the tank requires OEM Genuine Toyota towbar in order to be mounted. 

Can the Underbody Water Tank be mounted to other towbars or aftermarket rear bars? 

No, the tank is only able to be fitted to the OEM Genuine Toyota towbar. It will not work with Kaymar Rear Bar or the Hayman Reese Towbar.  

Can the Underbody Water Tank be used with a dual rear wheel carrier? 

Some rear bars retain the genuine Toyota tow bar. If your vehicle still has the genuine towbar, you can install the Kaon water tank. 

Is the Underbody Water Tank compatible with both 2018Current 3 tonne capacity towbar and the 20092018 2.5t towbar?

We have updated the water tank so that brackets now sit under the factory towbar nuts. This design change makes the water tank suitable for all models of Prado 150 with factory Toyota tow bar. 

Do I need to add the Pump Kit to use the Water Tank?

Pumps are handy to allow easier access to water outlet at a higher position and to increase pressure for use as a shower or with a nozzle. Some customers will run hose up into the rear door. We cover how to do this in our install video. 

I'd prefer to source my own pump, what sort of pump do people install with the Underbody Water Tank?  

You can use a small diaphragm pump or a centrifugal pump.  Centrifugal pumps are not self-priming an need to be installed at the same level at the water tank. 

Can the Underbody Water Tank be filled without the use of a hose?

It is best done with a hose. It could be done without, but would be very slow and somewhat difficult to do.  

Can digital tank fill level senders and gauges be fitted to the Tank so that the water level can be checked from within the vehicle? 

It is possible, you would need to drill a hole for the sender if you want to use the level meter.
