The EGR Lower Tub Strengthening Bracket, commonly referred to as the J-Brace, has been specifically engineered to provide additional structural reinforcement to the rear tub of the Ford Ranger RA (2022 onwards) and Volkswagen Amarok NF (2023 onwards).

Developed by EGR’s expert engineering team, this component has been designed in alignment with Ford Australia's Motor Body Building Guide, ensuring compatibility with manufacturer specifications and aftermarket accessory standards. By reinforcing the lower rear section of the tub, the J-Brace helps manage additional weight and stress often introduced by the fitment of canopies, roof racks, or heavy-duty accessories.

The result is improved rigidity and reduced risk of tub distortion over time—especially critical for vehicles frequently used in commercial, recreational, or off-road environments.
