Details

The EGR Hard Lid is more than just a tub cover—it’s a tough, lightweight, and precision-moulded upgrade for your ute. Designed to enhance the functionality and look of your vehicle, it integrates seamlessly with your tub and delivers rugged reliability for work, weekend escapes, and everything in between. Whether you're hauling tools or surfboards, the EGR Hard Lid offers the protection, convenience, and style you need to get more out of your ute.

Twin Skin ABS/Polycarbonate Construction

Crafted using EGR’s tried and tested twin skin ABS/Polycarbonate material, the Hard Lid delivers outstanding durability without unnecessary weight. Its robust structure stands up to harsh conditions while maintaining a sleek profile, making it the ideal balance between strength and performance. The twin-skin design adds rigidity, while the UV-stabilised materials resist fading, cracking, or warping—even under the brutal Australian sun.

Factory-Level Styling

Each lid is developed to match the form and lines of your vehicle for a clean, integrated look. Using robotic painting technology, EGR colour-matches your lid to OEM specifications, giving it a smooth, high-quality finish straight from the factory floor. For those seeking a custom look, an unpainted version is also available, offering a ready-to-paint surface for personalisation.

Simple Access with Push-Button Entry

The EGR Hard Lid features an ergonomic push-button entry system that allows quick and easy access to your tub. Supported by twin gas struts, the lid lifts smoothly and opens wide—making loading and unloading effortless. Once shut, slam latches automatically secure the lid in place, keeping your gear protected with minimal effort.

Quick Release System for Maximum Flexibility

Need more space? No problem. The EGR Hard Lid comes standard with a quick release hinge pin system that lets you remove the lid in seconds—no tools, no hassle. Whether you're loading oversized equipment or prepping for a weekend away, this system gives you the versatility to adapt on the fly.

Australian Engineered, Built to Perform

Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia, the EGR Hard Lid is built to meet the demands of Australian drivers. With a focus on quality, fit, and longevity, EGR leads the way in hard lid innovation—delivering smart design, premium materials, and unmatched reliability from coast to outback.
