Description
2 Bikes, Hitch mounted
The Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Carrier is designed to be stronger and more versatile than ever, providing cyclists with a reliable and secure solution for transporting their bikes. This enhanced version builds upon the solid steel construction of the original, incorporating new features that improve stability, security, and adaptability, making it an excellent choice for both single and multi-rider configurations at an accessible price point.
Flatlock Hitch Cam for 2"
The new Flatlock hitch cam ensures enhanced stability while towing, reducing wobble and movement to keep your bikes securely in place.
Semi-Integrated Cable Lock
Upgraded with a semi-integrated cable lock, the Transfer V2 offers increased security, giving you peace of mind when leaving your bike unattended.
Tamper-Resistant Hitch Security
The carrier features tamper-resistant hitch security to protect against theft and unauthorized removal.
Robust Hitch Design: With a more robust hitch design, the Transfer V2 offers superior stability, ensuring your bikes remain safe and secure during transit.
Wheelbase and Tire Compatibility
The carrier holds bikes with wheelbases up to 127cm and accommodates wheels from 18" to 32". It also supports tires up to 5" wide with the accessory strap, making it ideal for fat bikes.
Durability: Constructed with automotive-grade hardware that can withstand 750 hours of salt spray, the Transfer V2 is built to endure harsh conditions and regular use.
Dedicated 2” Hitch Version
The two-bike configuration can be directly mounted on campers, recreational vehicles, or trailers with chassis-mounted receivers only, providing flexibility for various transport needs.
Features
FlatLock Hitch Cam
The patented cam tightens the rack inside the 50mm receiver so it doesn't wobble. Its tamper-resistant bolt is tightened with the supplied 8mm security Allen key.
Cable Lock Included
A cable runs through the bike, back through its own loop and plugs into the lock port on the tray arm.
Add a Third Bike
The Transfer v2 1-Bike Add-On bolts on to make this a three-bike rack. With it fitted, every bike is limited to 18.1kg and the rack is no longer approved for RVs.
Folds With a Foot Lever
Lift the safety latch and press the foot lever to fold the rack up when it's not in use, or lower it again.
- Tyre hook arms clamp the front wheel and a ratchet strap holds the rear, so nothing touches the frame.
- The rear tyre cradle slides to fit the bike, and its strap adjusts from either side for a tighter hold on small wheels.
- The front tyre cradle's bolt tabs reverse to change the bike's pitch or stop two bikes touching.
- Steel construction with automotive-grade hardware.
- Comes with a standard hitch pin and cotter pin. A locking hitch pin is sold separately.
