The Kuat Piston Pro Add-On is the perfect solution for expanding the capacity of your Piston Pro bike carrier, providing quick and convenient changes from 2 to 3 bikes or up to a maximum capacity of 4 bikes. Designed with versatility and ease of use in mind, these add-ons allow you to adapt your bike carrier to accommodate additional bikes as needed, ensuring you have the flexibility to transport all your gear on your cycling adventures.
1-Bike and 2-Bike Add-On Options
Choose between a 1-bike add-on for quick change from 2 to 3 bikes or a 2-bike add-on for quick change from 2 to 4 bikes, depending on your specific transportation needs.
Quick Change Capability
With the Piston Pro Add-Ons, you can easily switch between carrying 2, 3, or 4 bikes, providing flexibility for different group sizes or bike configurations.
Weight Capacity
The 1-bike add-on holds up to 22.6 kg per tray, while the 2-bike add-on holds up to 18.1 kg per tray, ensuring sturdy support for your bikes during transit.
Compatibility
The add-ons are compatible with the 2” Piston™ Pro bike carrier, allowing for seamless integration and easy installation.
Pivot Swing-Away
Küat limits its racks to three bikes on a Pivot swing-away, so the 1-Bike Add-On can be used on one and the 2-Bike Add-On cannot. A four-bike Piston Pro weighs 49.4kg before bikes, and four 18.1kg bikes take it past the Pivot v2's 113.4kg load limit.
Maximum Compatibility
With wheelbases up to 1346 mm and tires as large as 5 inches, the add-ons are compatible with a wide range of bike sizes and styles.
Single Add-On Usage
Note that only one add-on can be used at a time, allowing you to tailor the capacity of your bike carrier to your specific needs while maintaining stability and balance.
Features
OneTap Arms
The add-on trays have the same OneTap arms as the Piston Pro. Tap a lever and the arms open on their own, then close onto the tyres.
FastFit Wheel Chocks
Squeeze the tabs and slide the chocks to suit 18" to 32" wheels. It takes seconds and no tools.
Foot Pedal Pivot
With the add-on fitted, the base rack's foot pedal still folds the whole rack up and down.

- Rack weighs 39kg as a three-bike setup
- Semi-integrated 12mm cable lock and two keys come with the add-on
