Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Add-On (Grey Metallic & Orange Anodize)
Makes an NV 2.0 a 4-bike rack
1 BikeLockable
Adds two trays to a 2" Küat NV 2.0 hitch rack, making it a four-bike rack for bikes and e-bikes up to 18.1kg each. It fits the NV 2.0 only, not the NV Base 2.0.
Description
1 Bike, Hitch mounted
The Kuat NV 2.0 Add-On extends the capabilities of your 2” NV 2.0 bike carrier, enhancing its capacity to accommodate more bikes and expand your cycling adventures. Whether you're planning a road trip, family outing, or backcountry expedition, these add-ons allow you to increase your vehicle's carrying capacity and invite more friends to join the fun.
1-Bike and 2-Bike Add-On Options
Choose between a 1-bike add-on for a quick change from 2 to 3 bikes or a 2-bike add-on for a quick change from 2 to 4 bikes, depending on your specific transportation needs.
Quick Change Capability
With the NV 2.0 Add-Ons, you can easily switch between carrying 2, 3, or 4 bikes, providing flexibility for different group sizes or bike configurations.
Compatibility
The add-ons are designed to be compatible with the 2” NV 2.0 bike carrier only (the NV Base 2.0 has its own add-ons), ensuring seamless integration and easy installation.
Includes 20-24" Wheel Adapter
Each add-on includes a 20-24" wheel adapter, needed for bikes with 20" to 24" front wheels.
Expand Your Carry Capacity
By adding the NV 2.0 Add-Ons to your existing bike carrier, you can expand your vehicle's carry capacity and accommodate more bikes, allowing you to bring along additional gear or invite more friends to join your cycling adventures.
Versatile Use
Whether you're planning a solo ride or a group outing, the NV 2.0 Add-Ons provide the versatility and flexibility you need to transport your bikes safely and securely, regardless of the size of your group.
Features
Integrated Cable Locks
Each added tray has its own cable lock, long enough to loop through most rear triangles. It retracts into the tray and a magnet holds it there.
Adjustable Tyre Cradles
The added trays have the same three-position front tyre cradle as the base rack, so neighbouring bikes don't clash at the handlebars or seat posts.
Trail Doc Moves Out
The Trail Doc repair stand moves with the rack. Take it off, fit the add-on, then refit it to the end cap of the new outer tray.
- Bolts to the centre beam of a 2" NV 2.0: take off the end cap, bolt the add-on on, then refit the end cap.
- Front tyre ratchet arm with an intuitive release and a co-moulded rear tyre strap, as on the base rack.
- Strap Extender Kit included, needed for tyres 3.5" to 5" wide.
- 20-24" Wheel Adapter included, needed for bikes with 20" to 24" front wheels.
- With the add-on fitted, the 4-bike rack weighs 43.5kg in total.
- Gloss metallic powder coat with water-transferred logos, to match the NV 2.0.
