The EGR Load Shield is the ultimate solution for protecting and securing your ute’s tub area. Constructed from strong yet lightweight aluminium, it features a robust 2.5mm 5-bar checker plate top panel, precision-mounted within extruded alloy side rails and finished with durable cast end-caps. The entire assembly is coated in a UV-stable matte black powdercoat, combining durability with a sleek, modern look.

Robust Security with Convenient Operation

Security is paramount with the EGR Load Shield. It uses a push-button centre key-lock T-handle that operates rear corner side latches, locking your load securely under key with two supplied keys. Additional security tabs prevent the tailgate from opening when the Load Shield is closed and locked. For easy access, gas struts assist in lifting the lid smoothly, while side corner latches ensure a safe and secure closure.

Versatile Racking Options for Added Capacity

If you need extra carrying capacity, the Load Shield offers versatile racking solutions. You can choose from the surface-mounted Yakima Rack Kit, which provides an impressive 100kg load capacity, or opt for the EGR Side Rail and Cross Bar Kit with a 50kg rating for a distinct look and lighter load needs. Both systems are compatible with a wide range of aftermarket accessories, expanding your ute’s utility to suit any adventure or job.
