Maxtrax Static Rope - 3m

Details

The Maxtrax Static Rope is a versatile, heavy-duty recovery essential designed to act as a non-stretch (static) component in your recovery setup. Whether you’re using it as a load-sharing bridle, a tree trunk protector, or an extension strap, it delivers strength, reliability, and flexibility when you need it most.

Engineered and tested as part of the Maxtrax Recovery System, this rope is purpose-built to work seamlessly with other Maxtrax gear. For added safety, the system is designed so the Maxtrax Fuse Shackle acts as the controlled weak point in the event of an overload—making it a must-use component in every recovery.

Multi-Purpose Performance

Load-Sharing Bridle

Perfect for spreading load across two rated recovery points, reducing stress on your vehicle. Simply connect the rope to both recovery points using Core Shackles, then attach your winch or kinetic rope at the midpoint.

Tree Trunk Protector

Wrap the rope securely around a suitable tree to create a safe anchor point while protecting the tree from damage. Connect your winch rope using a Fuse Shackle or Core Shackle for a controlled recovery.

Extension Strap

Need more reach? Use the Static Rope to extend your winch, kinetic, or other static ropes. Multiple ropes can be joined together using Core Shackles to suit your recovery setup.

No matter how you use it, always inspect the rope before use, ensure all connections are made to rated recovery points, and keep bystanders clear. Start every recovery by gently taking up slack, then increase load gradually if needed. Pairing your setup with a recovery dampener and recovery tracks can further improve safety and reduce strain on your gear.

Care & Maintenance

Built tough for harsh conditions, your Maxtrax Static Rope still benefits from proper care. Always inspect it for cuts, fraying, abrasion, or heat damage before use. If any damage is found, do not use the rope. After each use, rinse with clean fresh water, allow it to air dry, and store it in a protective bag to maximise lifespan.
