Featuring an integrated Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the BCDC1225D can charge from both solar panels and your vehicle’s alternator simultaneously. Its built-in Green Power Priority automatically selects solar power first—reducing alternator load and improving fuel efficiency.

Engine Bay Ready

Designed to thrive in harsh environments, the under-bonnet-compatible BCDC1225D is fully sealed and potted for protection against heat, water, dust, and vibration. It’s built to withstand the toughest conditions—operating in temperatures up to 80°C and surviving deep water crossings.

Smart Compatibility

The BCDC1225D supports both 12V and 24V vehicle systems and is compatible with standard and variable (smart) alternators. It’s suitable for all common battery types, including AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium, and LiFePO? (lithium)—making it ideal for pairing with a Redarc Lithium battery.

Optimised for battery banks between 75–200Ah, the BCDC1225D is the perfect fit for most dual battery setups. For systems exceeding 200Ah, Redarc recommends the BCDC1240D for increased charging capacity.
