Lightforce HTX2 Hybrid Driving Light - 12V (Twin Pack)

Details

The Lightforce HTX2 brings together the extreme distance of HID with the instant output and spread of LED, delivering a true hybrid solution in a single unit. By combining a long-distance HID system with the equivalent output of a 20-inch LED light bar, it achieves a level of performance that stands well above conventional lighting setups. With 1 lux reaching beyond 1.65km, the HTX2 provides outstanding forward visibility while maintaining a wide, usable beam across the road and beyond.

Fuelled by Fusion Performance

Engineered and manufactured in Australia, the HTX2 is built to handle the harshest conditions while delivering elite-level performance. This fusion of technologies allows for powerful long-range penetration without sacrificing spread, while the carefully balanced 5000K colour temperature improves clarity and reduces eye fatigue over long drives. Whether navigating remote tracks or covering long highway distances at night, the HTX2 provides the confidence to push further.

Strength Through Synthesis

The HTX2 has been completely reimagined with a robust one-piece aluminium housing that improves both strength and thermal efficiency. Its increased surface area allows for better heat management, ensuring consistent performance even during extended use. Fully sealed and supported by a genuine Gore® breather, the light exceeds IP68 and IP69K ingress protection standards and is waterproof up to one metre. From dust and corrugations to water crossings, it is built to withstand the elements without compromise.

Next-Generation Design & Engineering

Every aspect of the HTX2 has been refined to suit modern vehicles and demanding applications. Its slimline profile allows for easier integration with contemporary bull bars and improved compatibility with advanced safety systems. A redesigned mounting system enhances rigidity and balance, while captive Nyloc® nuts provide a more secure fitment. The updated sealing system, integrated waterproof plug, and UV-stabilised powder coat finish all contribute to long-term durability in harsh Australian conditions. Maintenance is also simplified with an easy-access design for HID bulb replacement.

Premium Components for Reliable Output

Inside the HTX2 are globally trusted components selected for their performance and reliability. A Philips® D1S HID bulb delivers efficient, high-quality light output, while an OEM-spec Osram® ballast ensures stable operation with reduced electromagnetic interference. Shielded cabling further enhances reliability by exceeding EMC compliance standards, ensuring the light performs consistently across a wide range of vehicles and conditions.

Proven Hybrid Performance

Building on the legacy of the original HTX, the HTX2 incorporates twenty domeless Lumileds® Luxeon ZES LEDs to complement the HID system. This combination produces exceptional beam clarity with reduced glare, while a CRI above 70 enhances colour definition for better visibility of terrain and obstacles. The result is a balanced output that delivers both long-distance reach and strong foreground illumination, making it equally capable on open roads and technical off-road tracks.

Built for Harsh Conditions

Durability is at the core of the HTX2’s design. A genuine Gore® waterproof membrane works alongside advanced sealing to protect internal components, while integrated protection systems guard against over-voltage, under-voltage, reverse polarity, and thermal overload. This ensures reliable operation even in unpredictable environments, giving users confidence in any situation.

Customisation & Versatility

The HTX2 is designed to adapt to different driving conditions and preferences. A modular filter system allows users to tailor beam patterns and colour output, with options including spot, combo, and amber filters. Protective black covers are also available, offering both added protection and a clean, modern appearance when the lights are not in use.

Easy Installation & Peace of Mind

Installation has been made straightforward with comprehensive instructions and a versatile mounting system that suits a wide range of applications. The reversible mounting base adds flexibility, making it easier to achieve the ideal setup. Backed by a five-year warranty and built in Australia, the HTX2 delivers long-term reliability along with industry-leading performance.
