Hardkorr 200W Heavy Duty Solar Mat MK1 with Croc Skin and 15A Solar Regulator

Details

When you’re out camping, particularly when you’re travelling through remote country, you must be able to rely on your solar panel. If your panel fails it can mean disaster for your trip – in some cases even having to cut it short or travel many kilometres to find a replacement.

HardKorrknow how important reliable solar power is, and that’s why they’ve designed their portable solar panels to not only survive in hard conditions, but thrive in them. They’ve specified the highest quality materials, prototyped and tested obsessively, and pay constant attention to our manufacturing process to ensure our meticulous standards are maintained. That’s why they’re the only portable solar company in Australia that’s confident enough to offer a 3 year warranty on our solar mats. It’s also why HardKorr were awarded two Global Media Awards for our portable solar products at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, USA.

HardKorr's 200w Heavy Duty Portable Solar Panels are perfect to power a 2-4 person camping set up running LED lighting, a medium to large fridge, shower and other small electronic devices. You can connect them to a battery with the included battery clamps, or disconnect the controller and connect the panels directly to a compatible built-in regulator or DC-DC charger via the Anderson plug input.

Smart Regulator

This regulator will optimally charge a range of battery types, including AGM, Gel, Calcium, Wet and all lithium variants. It contains a host of smart electronics including reverse polarity protection, short circuit protection, reverse current protection, overcharge protection and more.

Its large, backlit LCD screen provides useful information relating to power input and battery charge level, and inbuilt LEDs provide a quick-reference indicator of battery charge status.

It also has the ability to automatically ‘wake up’ a lithium that has been put into sleep mode after the over-discharge protection circuit has been tripped. Simply connect the regulator to the battery and it will deliver special small-current pulses until the battery has recovered enough to be charged normally.

HardKorr's Croc Skin

Sitting under the baking hot sun for many hours at a time means solar mats are exposed to large quantities of ultraviolet light and generate a significant amount of heat every time they are used. The materials used in the construction of the mat must be resistant to both, as well as being flexible and impact resistant.

HardKorr's exclusive Crocskin cell armour coating has been specifically designed with this in mind. It provides an excellent protective barrier to the solar cells, increasing their durability and lifespan.

In fact, HardKorr's Crocskin coating showed no signs of deterioration after an accelerated weathering test that simulated 30 years’ sun exposure.

The HardKorr Guarantee
