Details

The GripSport Universal Cross Member (UCM) is an innovative, bolt-on solution designed to mount a GripSport Caravan Bike Rack or other accessories to your caravan or camper drawbar without the need for welding.

Designed for DIY installation, the UCM provides a clean, low-profile fit while delivering the strength and durability required for caravan use.

DIY-Friendly Installation

• No welding or specialist trades required.
• Designed for straightforward DIY fitment.
• Bolts securely over your caravan drawbar for a strong and reliable installation.

Low-Profile Design

The UCM features a sleek, streamlined design with minimal protrusion, helping maintain a clean appearance while maximising available space on your drawbar.

Adjustable Pivot Mechanism

The integrated pivot mechanism adjusts to suit different drawbar angles, allowing the UCM to achieve a secure and properly aligned fit.

Designed for Most Standard Caravan Chassis

The Universal Cross Member is designed to fit most standard caravan chassis. Before purchasing, ensure your chassis dimensions and available space are suitable for the selected UCM size.

Fitment Information

The Universal Cross Member features integrated anti-crush plates for additional strength and rigidity. These plates are fixed in position, meaning the UCM cannot be cut down to a shorter length.

Please also check the available space around your drawbar before installation. Items such as jockey wheels, stone guards, gas bottles, covers and other mounts or accessories may interfere with the GripSport Bike Rack or Mount. In some installations, these items may need to be relocated to allow sufficient clearance.

Choosing the Correct UCM Size

The UCM measurement is taken outside-to-outside of the chassis rails, measured at the widest point where you intend to install the Cross Member. This measurement includes the mounting brackets.

The Cross Member bars themselves, excluding the mounting brackets, are available in the following lengths:

• UCM1: 480 mm
• UCM2: 540 mm
• UCM3: 600 mm
• UCM4: 660 mm

*Only one Universal Cross Member is included per purchase. Multiple lengths are available to suit different chassis widths.

*Please confirm your chassis dimensions, available clearance and accessory positioning before ordering to ensure the selected UCM is suitable for your installation.
