Roof Rack Installation Questions
Most crossbar and platform fits are completed in one to two hours. More involved jobs — track-mounted systems, drilled fitments, or a full platform with accessories — can take half a day. We confirm the time when you book, so you know whether to wait or leave the vehicle with us.
Almost certainly. We fit Rhino-Rack, Yakima, Thule and X-Country systems across sedans, hatches, SUVs, wagons, 4WDs, utes and vans, matched to your roof type — bare roof, raised rails, flush rails, fixed points or a factory track. Use the vehicle selector on our site, or call your nearest store with the make, model and build year.
Your limit is whichever is lower: the vehicle manufacturer's roof load rating, or the rack system's rated capacity. Dynamic capacity (while driving) is always lower than static capacity (parked, as with a roof top tent). We check both against your vehicle before recommending a system, so the setup you leave with is compliant.
