Window Tinting differences?
What does the V.L.T(Visible Light Transmission) Percentage on a Window Film Mean?
Its is the amount of light that is allowed through the combination of the glass and window film . 0% percent would be pitch black and 100 % would be completely clear.
What does T.S.E.R(Total Solar Energy Rejected) Percentage on a Window Film Mean?
This is the total amount of solar energy (heat!) rejected by the window film when installed. So the higher the T.S.E.R the less heat that is allowed through, reducing cooling costs by not having to run your air conditioning units on higher settings. So a higher T.S.E.R rating means lower cooling costs.
What does V.L.R(Visible Light Reflectance) Percentage on a Window Film Mean?
Is the amount of light that is visibly reflected by the window. The higher the number is, the more reflective the window will look. A high number will make the window look almost mirror like.
